With new ways of learning and teaching, this innovative school design is transforming education across the country. Abandoning the idea of “traditional schooling,” New Tech High School provides us with unique opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills to survive and succeed in the 21st-century global economy. The goal of New Tech Schools is to effectively prepare us for the 21st century by focusing on engagement, relevancy, and experience within the curriculum. To accomplish this, New Tech School use a project-based learning method which includes in-class simulations and real world challenges, college classes, community service and internships within the community. We as students, as a group, made this website for one of our own project's. As our driving question being "What is the legacy of colonization? How can we better understand, and teach others about, other cultures in order to move forward together and heal the wounds of the past?" |
