                                                                                           EXPERIENCE IN HAITI

Haiti has been a very poor place since the earthquake that hit in 2010. There is lots of corruption, crime, and lawlessness. Everyone's house is either broken or is needing repair. When you walk down the road of houses, you could smell  the smoke, warm, and delicious foods around you such as rice, beans, meat, chicken, and vegetables. They eat lots of interesting foods that Jill  doesn't  really eat at home except the beans. The food though looked very good and I think that I would be comfortable eating the food that they eat  From seeing these things, Hector could tell that from where he lives, it’s soo much different. In Haiti Hector didn’t see many restaurants and he noticed you can’t go to the store because he really didn’t see any. The people usually eat at their home but they really like their foods!  Will also noticed that the people their didn’t have T.V’s so they could only communicate with radios. By the looks of the peoples faces, Will could tell that they really liked there way of living because they are probably already used to it. So Will and Hector decided to walk around the places and Hector saw that more men seem to be working than woman. Here Will noticed that he always sees more men working in field and other jobs. That’s another different thing from here. In each house women basically do all the cooking but the men get to slaughter goats for food. Will thinks that’s pretty sad but It was life back then. Haiti is a place that you didn’t know existed. Life their can change your life if you decide to live their. Hector and Will honestly wouldn’t move to Haiti because of the things that they saw. Hector then recommend staying here in Nipomo.

After reading this paragraph would you actually go to that country? The country to me isn’t that bad because they basically have everything we have but in just a different part of the country. I know their isn’t any stores to go to when your bored but that doesn't make Haiti a boring place to be. At first I didn't know what this country was all about but after reading about it, it seemed like a place in the future that I would like to visit someday. Something that I knew happened in 2010 was that a big earthquake hit Haiti and many people became homeless. I think this is very sad because they didn’t deserve being like this and they look like they are all very nice people. The earthquake even managed to kill soo many people and their town all got torn up. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere!!!! Knowing this makes me want to help them.  This country is a very nice and good place to go if you’re interested in going to another country. Haiti is a very interesting and amazing place to go. So I recommend anyone to go and see for themselves!!!!!!
